How It Works

Our GIF Back Club initiative was developed by Chief MISGIF Maker Jessie Whitfield to support Arizona nonprofits and local organizations doing amazing work in our community and most importantly is made possible because of our clients’ generous support of our woman-owned and operated Tempe, Arizona photo booth business.

Since 2017 MISIGF has donated over $25,000 to Arizona nonprofits, sponsored over $100,000 in nonprofit photo booth rental services and invested over 250 hours in local community service projects!

The beauty of this unique program is that when you invest in MISGIF, you’re effectively investing in our local Arizona community. In other words, a portion of our profits from every event is directly donated back to Arizona nonprofits and organizations!

How Your Dollars Make A Difference

There are several awesome ways your investment in MISGIF has a positive impact in our local community:

• MISGIF makes nonprofit photo booth rentals accessible by offering a special nonprofit rate and sponsorships

• MISGIF makes sustainable monthly charitable financial donations to a number of Arizona nonprofits (one n ten, Trees Matter, Arizona Coalition to End Sexual & Domestic Violence, Keep Tempe Beautiful, Tempe Community Action Agency, Arizona Asian American Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander for Equity and Hope Mental Health Foundation.) MISGIF also sponsors Arizona Asian American Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander for Equity Climate Camp for children and Ziggy the Coyote at Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center each year.

• MISGIF team members are able to donate a photo booth to a nonprofit of their choice each year & MISGIF donates photo booths to six nonprofits events each year (one n ten National Coming Out Day and Fresh Brunch, Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation Trick-or-Treat event for patients, Arizona Asian American Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander for Equity Earth Day Festival, Arizona Humane Society Papago Park campus grand opening and Piece of the Pi annual fundraiser.)

• MISGIF team members volunteer their time at various nonprofit community events year-round (Trees Matter, Keep Tempe Beautiful and D2 Homes for the Homeless) as well as conduct regular neighborhood trash pick-ups at Selleh Park near their Tempe office

• MISGIF donates any retired props and styled shoot attire in good condition to Arizona nonprofits and schools (Treasures for Teachers & Threads Teen Closet)

• MISGIF donates any retired tech and office items to local nonprofits (Welcome To America Project)

• MISGIF supports local small businesses by purchasing office supplies and event items from them with a focus on Tempe, AZ locally owned businesses and woman-owned businesses

• MISGIF invests in sustainable photo booth solutions that have a less invasive impact on our local environment & wildlife and intentionally chooses not to advertise printing photos for this specific reason (suppliers selected who offer made-in-Arizona and made-in-the-USA equipment & supply options and are woman-owned whenever possible)

2024 GIF Back Club Special Project!

In 2024 MISGIF Photo Booths will team up with Welcome To America Project to provide “Welcome Home Kits” to new families immigrating to the US.

GIF Back Club Partnership Spotlight!

In 2023 MISGIF Photo Booths teamed up with Arizona nonprofit Dsquared Homes for the Homeless and City of Tempe’s Homeless Prevention Outreach Effort (H.O.P.E.) to provide 1,000 “Good Neighbor Bags” to our Tempe unsheltered community members in need.
