THE EVENT

Each year Phoenix Children’s hosts a outdoor fundraiser called Team Taylor 5K Fun Run that brings Arizona community members together to show their support for families who have lost a child to SUID (Sudden Unexpected Infant Death.) This year it benefited Phoenix Children’s Safe Sleep & Home Safety Program and was sponsored by Orange Theory Fitness and Lerner & Rowe.

THE GOAL

To provide Arizona event attendees with an opportunity to share their memories from the fundraising event and spread awareness about SUID and Phoenix Children’s community programs in a fun and memorable way, that also highlighted the event’s sponsors.

THE STRATEGY

For this Arizona fun run event we used our outdoor-friendly photo booth the Selfie Station to capture photos of families and kids participating in Team Taylor 5K. Since the event kicked off bright and early at 7:00am we also used a special software feature that allowed us to remove shadows from the step-and-repeat backdrop to ensure all photos taken were high quality. Event attendees were able to share their branded photos instantly to social media and reminded in the email they received to use #TeamTaylor5K and tag @friendsofpch when sharing.

THE EXPERIENCE

Offering a fun photo booth experience for event attendees was the perfect way to celebrate them finishing their 5K and empower them to help spread awareness about SUID by sharing their support of Phoenix Children’s programs and the Team Taylor 5K Fun Run on social media.

THE ROI

Over the course of the early morning fun run we had a nonstop line before and after the run and captured approximately 100 photos for Phoenix Children’s with our stylish and shareable Selfie Station photo booth that resulted in over an estimated 9.2K reach and impressive 29.6K impressions on social media.
